Everytime I use a certain medium for some time the time comes when I want to try out another medium. So I decided to give my acrylic paint markers a break and come back to my neocolor II watersoluble wax crayons made by Carandache. I use these crayons in two ways:
- I apply them directly on the paper and then wet them.
- I shave them into empty yoghurt cups and drop a bit of water on the shavings.
I definitely prefer shaving and wetting them, but sometimes the crayons have been shaved - so I have to use them directly on the paper.
In order to create a contrast I used an alcoholbased marker for the background.
