It is winter in my part of the world, but nevertheless I love to see flowers in all variations - they speak of spring and summer and warmer days!

Summer Colours Postcard
by ullahennig

You can find some of my abstract paintings on Zazzle. Maybe you are looking for a postcard with summer colours, a card which will create happy summer feelings? Try that one!

Summer feeling

For me these colours just stand for the season we are in now: summer! The blues of summer skies and water, the red and pink stand for icecream with strawberries with yoghurt, the yellow stands for the sun.

Summer Colours

This colourful painting was done with alcoholbased markers on a tiny sheet of watercolour paper. I got this paper together with other material from my dear neighbour. I enjoy using this tiny format especially with markers as it does not take so long as bigger format. When I've finished it and scanned it in I put it in my sketchbook - so I can use it for inspiration with bigger formats.
